Full Terms of Service

I know this looks a little daunting, but it’s mostly common sense and here to answer any questions about extenuating circumstances that occur less frequently!

By requesting a commissioned piece or purchasing audio created by Ruby, you (the client) agree to the following terms and conditions. Terms herein also apply to any audio purchased from Ruby, including voice packs. Ignorance of my full TOS will not be considered legitimate reasoning for breaking it.

☆ 1. You must be 18 or over to commission me and your content must not include content depicting characters or properties under the age of 18.

The client agrees that they are of legal adult status within their country, state, or province of residence and is at least 18 years of age or older. Ruby holds no responsibility for underage clients consuming, commissioning or obtaining her work and will never, under any circumstance knowingly accept a commission from an underage person nor containing content depicting or relating to underaged persons at any time

☆ 2. dont commission me for illegal content.

The client agrees that any work commissioned meets the legal standards of the client’s country, state or province. Ruby is not responsible for any client obtaining, consuming or commissioning work which may be deemed illegal outside of her place of residence (U.S.A)
If Ruby chooses not to move forward with a project as a result of legal concerns (i.e. property ownership issues, inclusion of minors, inclusion of bestiality, inclusion of sexually explicit violence, etc) the client is not eligible for a refund.

☆ 3. Please dont try to scam me or steal from me. here are some things you can't do with your commissioned work:

The client understand and agrees that commissioning work from Ruby does not give the client rights to the above. All uses or intended uses of the commissioned or purchased audio must be made known to Ruby at or before the time of payment.

☆ 4. How to give Proper Credit:

Proper credit is mandatory for any and all content commissioned unless Ruby agrees otherwise.The client may credit Ruby within any reasonable manner so long as it does not imply, suggest or outright say that Ruby approves or endorses you, your business, or your content.It is the responsibility of the client to make sure that Ruby is properly credited for her work; this includes any editors or sound designers who might use Ruby’s work for another client.Reasonable credit includes any one of the following:

☆ 5. Payment and Fees:

- It is the responsibility of the client to remain up to date on current pricing, add-on fees or discounts
- Ruby reserves the right to change any of their pricing or TOS at any time.
- New pricing will not affect commissions that have already been paid for.
- Payment will be refunded in full if at any point Ruby decides not to move forward with a commission, or cannot if at no fault of the client
- Ruby is not obligated to offer a refund if the client chooses to end or cancel the commission after payment.
- Once a client sends payment, they are no longer eligible for a refund under any circumstances.
- At Ruby's own discretion, the negotiation of a kill fee may be applicable wherein client is still responsible for 60% of the originally invoiced payment amount and will be refunded the remaining 40%
- Ruby will not add you to her commission queue or begin working on your project until the commission is paid in full.
- Ruby only offers payment forms in the form of invoices, amazon gift cards and commission purchases from sites that allow NSFW content. sending payment without request may result in blacklisting or chargebacks.

☆ 6. Revisions and editing:
Be clear about what you want/need from me to avoid any price changes!

Ruby does not accept script revisions after the point of payment. Please be sure your scripts and commission information are complete before an invoice is sent.Revisions to the script after the commission has been paid will incur a fee equal to the voicing rate per word or minute PLUS an additional 10% of the total commission fee in most cases!The client will have 7 days from the day Ruby sends the final commissioned piece to request any edits or revisions. Requests after this point will be denied.
Repeated requests for Edits, Revisions, and/or re-recording of lines may result in cancellation of commission and will always incur a fee equal to the voicing fee per word/minute agreed upon in the original invoice if they are needed at no fault of Ruby’s [after the 1 free retake].Situations that fall under the responsibility of the client include, but are not limited to:

☆ 7. Licensing and ownership of client’s materials and content:
Make sure you own the rights to what you commission me for, i will not be responsibile if you dont.

If Ruby is commissioned for any copyrighted, illegal, or improperly licensed materials, fault and responsibility will fall solely on the client.
By commissioning Ruby, the client agrees that their commission and all content therein falls under one of the following categories:

☆ 7a. You own your work, I own mine.

Ruby retains no rights to materials and content provided by the client outside of the creation of the commissioned piece. Ruby retains all rights to the resulting audio of a personal commission; including the ability to sell or redistribute the audio in any form, unless the client has paid a privacy fee.

☆ 8. Privacy and personal/sensitive information:
we legally agree to keep personal info between us barring extreme circumstances [listed below]

Ruby and the client agree to protect any and all personal or personally identifying information at all times and both parties understand and agree that leaks of the aforementioned information may result in legal action on either side. This information includes, but is not limited to:

8a. Ruby retains the right to collect screen shots, with personally identifying information removed or blocked out in cases of the following:

☆ 9. Ruby retains the right to use your project for professional growth (resumes, demo reels, linking to it on social media, reddit, youtube or patreon) once the project is public, and of course, outside of NDA/privacy contracts.

☆ 10. The client is responsible for keeping up to date on Ruby’s Terms and conditions. Failure to comply with any of the above may result in a DMCA and removal of content.

Base Pricing

Non-commercial and indie pricing is determined on a case by case basis for smaller creators & studios and personal commissions~!

$45 minimum order charged as studio fee. My base turnaround time is 10 business days from payment.

Disclaimer

I retain the right to post or resell any roleplay style audio, outside of NDA obligation, unless a privacy fee is paid by the client. Discounts apply to bulk orders. The best way to get an accurate quote is to send me your script or project details!
Payment must be given up front. I VERY rarely accept a commission without a script! If you need a writer, i can direct you to some!

Your request will not receive a response if you leave out any of the information requested below.

I offer custom voice tests / audition requests for a $10 fee. This fee is deducted from your total commission price if you choose to hire me. i appreciate the thought, but no, absolutely not. Under no circumstances should you send money to my business accounts without being invoiced. doing so will get you blacklisted, blocked and possibly reported. I do not accept projects on the basis of Porn Emergency. I have a schedule, I have other clients and projects, I have other outlets of work, and I have much-needed personal time to cuddle my dog :) The fastest I can feasibly guarantee quality content is a minimum of 48 hours after payment is received, depending on the size of the project.- How Long Have You Been Doing This?
I received formal vocal training beginning at 12 years old, up until 20 and sang in national choirs as a Soprano.

The first thing I want to say is- don't expect to be good or well known right away. It takes years- sometimes decades of hard work! Work on your acting and voice control, don't rely fully on impressions, create your own content so that you learn how to run social media, how to record and sound design and to get practice with voice acting! Give yourself time. it will take a lot of it. Put in effort to learn and improve. Because they are either newer, less experienced, have more beginner friendly equipment, or they're not charging enough. [and tbh, it's probably this last one]
I work in a treated sound booth that I built myself with professional acoustic treatment on professional, studio grade equipment and i've put in the time and money to learn things like acoustics, recording, acting, improv, vocal technique and sound design. Also, I actually charge a little less than a lot of professional NSFW VAs.
If my rates are out of your budget, just say that. I can either try to work with you, or direct you to a newer talent who wants and needs more work and may be within your budget. But in all honesty, my rates are pretty standard for NSFW content.- Will You Collab With Me??

Maybe. In all honesty, for moans and short lines, I can typically do an impression well enough to appease fans. Am I going to sound EXACTLY 100% like the original VA? That's unlikely.
